Joseph has vast experience in piano collaboration. During his music degree he completed an additional year of applied study focusing in collaborative piano. He now works at the Fountain School of Performing Arts (FSPA) and accomanies students there as well as the Dalhousie Chorus. Joseph also accompanies the Christ Church Choir, Giocoso Community Choir, Previously he has accompanied the Halifax Music Co-Op (HMC) Chorus and Starling choirs, Mezzo Soprano Breana Miller's "Oceans" Concert, Faure's Requiem on Organ with orchestra, composer and tubist Hope Salmonson's "Chick with a Tuba" Concert, students of Halifax’s Suzuki Violin School, as well as many strings, brass, and voice students' rehearsals, exams and concerts. Recently he has started working with Vocalypse Productions and premiered 6 new mini operas at the annual Opera from Scratch workshop. With Vocalypse he also played for the world premiere of "Escape to Freedom", an opera by Canadian composer Sandy Moore. He has also started working with cellist Anna Shabalina in the "Soul Strings Duo" featuring many different styles of music for piano and cello. He has played and is scheduled to play with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra (NSYO) program offered through Symphony Nova Scotia.
